Genaro Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Gelmiro having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Malargüe got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Salomone. In the 28th match minute, Malargüe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Salomone to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Roman Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Iruinea in the 38th minute of play forced Racing Galaxy's goalkeeper Gilberto Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Oier hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a good free kick, Amado Oier got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Racing Galaxy. Arnulfo Semeno made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Man Nejmann sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Racing Galaxy's Arnulfo Semeno threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Gaitan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Man Nejmann to strike the kick off in the second half. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Carlos Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Galaxy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Man Nejmann took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Semeno. Arnulfo Semeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 75th minute, Jeremias Iruinea fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Genaro Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Gelmiro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Man Nejmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Semeno was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Racing Galaxy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Malargüe for a fine match.
