The referee showed Higinio Fraco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Metán booed when La Masía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Metán getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Federico Gorosti hit a great ball. Wilfredo Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Galo in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Enetz. La Masía's Wilfredo Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Gartzi in the 24th minute of play. Wilfredo Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Gonsalve, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th match minute, Metán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Galo to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Bernat in the 28th minute of play. If Filiberto Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilfredo Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, La Masía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Fraco was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Emilio Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Galo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilfredo Procopio had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Emilio Galo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 63rd minute, Isidro Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metán's Isaias Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Fraco in the 66th minute of play. Wilfredo Procopio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Gartzi in the 71st minute. After 75 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Gartzi. After 82 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Gonsalve. If Andres Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Filiberto Gartzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Wilfredo Procopio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 minutes of play, Metán's Filiberto Gartzi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Procopio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th match minute, Metán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. Metán's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
