After having played for 29 minutes, Pablo Aimanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Aimanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Nabar in the 30th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Mauricio Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Racing Club's Pablo Aimanov made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Cordearo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Lírico de Buenos Aires's Gervasio Cordearo got control of the ball when Silban Zermeño tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Reinier Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racing Club made a substitution. Edelmiro Pudes replaced Cecilio Bermudo. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Edelmiro Pudes hit a great ball. Domingos Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Garci having to interfere. Moises Felo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gervasio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Racing Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
