After a rather tough play, La Pared FC's Gaston Frances got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Pared FC's zone, Teodoro Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Arias came out of the goal and Teodoro Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Fero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Baltasar Mannie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Eliseo Quinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Pared FC and the Oniros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oniros FC booed when La Pared FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Leobardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Arias. La Pared FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Baltasar Mannie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cirilo Sugar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nicolas Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Tercero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Fero in the 26th minute of play forced La Pared FC's goalkeeper Sergio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Sugar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Paio in the 38th minute of the match. Sergio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Fero in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Oniros FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aureliano Kemen hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Guaberto Mergildo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Pared FC's protests and gave Guaberto Mergildo a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes La Pared FC got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Mergildo. Remigio Fero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Sergio Arias 58 minutes into the match. Remigio Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Oniros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Paio came free, but Cirilo Sugar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Mannie in the 86th minute of play forced Oniros FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Sugar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes La Pared FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Froylan. When the match was over Oniros FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Pared FC throughout the match.
