Delmar Misael scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Modestio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes PCD-TIGERS got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Toli. After some careless play in the PCD-TIGERS defense, Delmar Misael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Modestio. The PCD-TIGERS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Modestio should have stopped the shot. After 25 minutes, Rigoberto Abad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PCD-TIGERS and the Menudo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Rigoberto Abad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Modestio having to interfere. Joaquin Aires hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Delmar Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play PCD-TIGERS's Candido Araoz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Candido Araoz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Lano Chapital struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Erubiel Modestio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menudo FC. After 44 minutes of play, Menudo FC's António Cruz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Modestio was left in no man's land by his defense there! António Cruz's late challenge caught a PCD-TIGERS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Misael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, PCD-TIGERS's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Misael came free, but Erubiel Modestio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Erubiel Modestio managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Menudo FC's António Cruz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If António Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Delmar Misael came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Menudo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Misael couldn't finish the play.
