Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Marcos Isaio made the kick off in the second half. Claudio Argoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Penco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Florida had been in control for most of the match, Trelew still came away with the win.
