After 16 minutes Trelew's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edelmiro Valiente who took care of the corner kick. Edelmiro Valiente made a great header on Rodeo's corner, it was just that Trelew's Claudio Argoitz managed to reach the ball for a save. Claudio Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Abilio in the 20th minute. If Marcos Isaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Weaver having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Abilio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Rodeo got a freekick which was hit by Christian Abilio. If Silvestre Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Christian Abilio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Claudio Argoitz to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Christian Abilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Argoitz was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Claudio Argoitz made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rafael Juncker sent off a good shot on target. If Marcos Isaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rafael Juncker made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Rodeo's Rafael Juncker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Argoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Trelew's Claudio Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Siqueira in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Trelew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Isaio to maneuver through the defense. If Rafael Juncker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes of play, Rodeo's Rafael Juncker made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Argoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Argoitz came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodeo's Christian Abilio. But to his dismay, Christian Abilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Rafael Juncker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Argoitz having to make a save. Claudio Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Maicon Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Isaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nicky Weaver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maicon Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Argoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maicon Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodeo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
