Fernan Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Weaver having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Pellegrino got free with Nicky Weaver in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Maciel FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Isaias Enol hit a great ball. Nicky Weaver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Pellegrino in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Rodeo booed when Maciel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Maciel FC's Mateo Pellegrino got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Rodeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Machado to maneuver through the defense. Maciel FC's Ramiro Buinton got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Rodeo got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Valiente. The supporters of Rodeo booed when Maciel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Maciel FC's Isaias Enol got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Isaias Enol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Maciel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match, Isaias Enol got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicky Weaver was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcos Ciceron's late challenge caught a Maciel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute Enzo Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Weaver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Isaias Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maciel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Enol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodeo's Nicky Weaver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Enol in the 60th minute of play. Nicky Weaver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Abad in the 63rd minute of play. Isaias Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Weaver having to interfere. Isaias Enol struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nicky Weaver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maciel FC. 77 minutes into the match, Enzo Abad notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rodeo's Nicky Weaver. Nicky Weaver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Abilio during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rodeo's Christian Abilio got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Ivan Sotil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rodeo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maciel FC the free kick. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rodeo! The referee gave Maciel FC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isaias Enol, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rodeo's Nicky Weaver. 2-0. When Maciel FC's Isaias Enol in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rodeo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 97th match minute, Rodeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Joachim to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Maciel FC were the better team. Maciel FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
