Vince Easton started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Vince Easton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Anier Benvide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edelmiro Paskal charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Paskal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 11 minutes into the match, Vince Easton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of River Plate's Anier Benvide. Anier Benvide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vince Easton sped through River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anier Benvide. 17 minutes into the game, LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Benvide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 19th minute, Vince Easton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Montae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Easton in the 22nd minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Anier Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Easton might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Benvide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vince Easton ran back to his position shaking his head. Anier Eusko charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Eusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Anier Eusko hit a great ball. Vince Easton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Benvide having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Benvide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Anier Benvide came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton. But to his dismay, Vince Easton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Anier Benvide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Botello went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Vince Easton sped through River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anier Benvide. The River Plate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LA DEL MONO were winning 0-9.

The wind increased when Jimeno Montae made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Benvide was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the game, Higinio Botello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Anier Benvide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the game, one of River Plate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Montae in the 64th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anier Benvide. Anier Benvide yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Anier Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Easton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. River Plate's Anier Benvide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Vince Easton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Benvide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. 75 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Vince Easton came free, but Anier Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Jenaro charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Jenaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Jenaro. LA DEL MONO made a substitution. Layne Saron replaced Esteban Criston. In the 77th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Betinho Falcão made a precise shot to the right of Anier Benvide. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. 81 minutes into the game, Hugo Hondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA DEL MONO the free kick. In the 81st match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Hondo to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Rigoberto Cordareo in the 82nd minute really tested Anier Benvide's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Betinho Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Betinho Falcão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Benvide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. 93 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Botello came free, but Anier Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The River Plate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LA DEL MONO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
