LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, LA DEL MONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Cordareo to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Chañaritos FC's Samuel Precioso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chañaritos FC's Romeo Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Easton in the 17th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vince Easton couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur got control of the ball when Rolando Rolon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Toli having to interfere. When Andres Quintan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA DEL MONO's protests and gave Andres Quintan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Andres Quintan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Higinio Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Easton, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Chañaritos FC booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Gentiletti to make the kick off. Romeo Toli was a little too slow when Vince Easton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-5. Higinio Botello struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Romeo Toli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA DEL MONO. Javier Loiola hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Orlin in the 63rd minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Easton in the 64th minute of play forced Chañaritos FC's goalkeeper Romeo Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chañaritos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rigoberto Cordareo was slow to take the kick. During this time LA DEL MONO's players had a chance to rest. 68 minutes into the match, Chañaritos FC's goalkeeper Romeo Toli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vince Easton. Vince Easton might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Toli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vince Easton ran back to his position shaking his head. Romeo Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Easton, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Chañaritos FC's Niceto Oinaz got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Easton in the 75th minute of play forced Chañaritos FC's goalkeeper Romeo Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Toli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
