Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Epifanio Leoncio kicked off to start the match. Epifanio Leoncio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, Ferro General Pico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Donostia to maneuver through the defense. River Plate's Anier Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Baldovino in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ferro General Pico defense, Hector Virila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Ihintza. The Ferro General Pico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Ihintza should have stopped the shot. After having played for 21 minutes, Jimeno Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Montae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Ferro General Pico's Anier Benvide threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Epifanio Leoncio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the match, Ferro General Pico's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eusko came free, but Amancio Ihintza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Urritz in the 34th minute of the match. Anier Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Anastasio Jenaro's late challenge caught a Ferro General Pico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Jenaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Anastasio Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Leoncio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Benvide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Leoncio ran back to his position shaking his head. River Plate's Anier Benvide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate from getting a goal against them. Apolo Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimeno Montae to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Primitivo Urritz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Benvide. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Urritz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Epifanio Leoncio scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Benvide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Urritz in the 66th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Anier Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Montae in the 68th minute of play forced Ferro General Pico's goalkeeper Amancio Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play River Plate's Anastasio Jenaro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Leoncio took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Benvide. Anier Benvide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Anier Benvide came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferro General Pico's Matias Roland. But to his dismay, Matias Roland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 80 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Leoncio came free, but Anier Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Virila during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Leoncio in the 82nd minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Anier Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Epifanio Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferro General Pico's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Leoncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Benvide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of River Plate booed when Ferro General Pico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferro General Pico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
