Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Hernandez in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Estefan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garry Bastin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Hernandez in the 36th minute of play. Patton Lester charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patton Lester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club.Atletico Puerto Arge getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Patton Lester hit a great ball. Club.Atletico Puerto Arge's Guillermo Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Hernandez in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Hernandez in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Estefan saved Club.Atletico Puerto Arge from getting behind. Pereyra's Enrique Indartsu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Club.Atletico Puerto Arge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pereyra were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Hernandez made a kick off. With a little luck, Club.Atletico Puerto Arge's Guillermo Estefan got control of the ball when Efrain Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Club.Atletico Puerto Arge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 87 minutes into the match, Pereyra's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Arnau came free, but Claudio Onbera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
