Spectators: 5745 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matias Aurken took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roland Zondervan came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by CHAMIS FC's Haroldo Montxo. But to his dismay, Haroldo Montxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Jesus Paskal fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHAMIS FC's protests and gave Jesus Paskal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cuervos de Boedo booed when CHAMIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Jesus Paskal had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godfredo Lalla during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. CHAMIS FC's Nereo Claus was substituted for Jesus Paskal. Godfredo Lalla hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cuervos de Boedo defense, Eulalio Medero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Zondervan. The Cuervos de Boedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Zondervan should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Cuervos de Boedo's goalkeeper Roland Zondervan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Carrascal. Jorge Carrascal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Roland Zondervan made a huge save. Nicasio Gau charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Gau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Cuervos de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Gau to maneuver through the defense. Roland Zondervan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cuervos de Boedo's Roland Zondervan got control of the ball when Haroldo Montxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Julio Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Carrascal was the one to do the kick off. Cuervos de Boedo's Roland Zondervan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Cuervos de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Katia came free, but Roland Zondervan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Carrascal in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Zondervan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roland Zondervan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Carrascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jorge Carrascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHAMIS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Carrascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Zondervan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 63rd minute of play forced Cuervos de Boedo's goalkeeper Roland Zondervan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuervos de Boedo's Roland Zondervan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Montxo in the 66th minute of play. Eulalio Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Roland Zondervan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cuervos de Boedo's Orlando Hibai got a free kick in the 75th minute. CHAMIS FC's Carmelo Katia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cuervos de Boedo. Roland Zondervan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Carrascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roland Zondervan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos de Boedo's zone, Nereo Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Zondervan came out of the goal and Nereo Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Gau scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustaquio Timo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Cuervos de Boedo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. José Luis Brown hit a great ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervos de Boedo's goalkeeper Roland Zondervan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
