After a rather tough play, Pereyra's Aquiles Ponce got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Pereyra's Claudio Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Vito in the 24th minute of play. Claudio Onbera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jeronimo Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Ctes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Vito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Onbera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Efrain Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Efrain Hernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Hermon was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. With his leg Claudio Hermon managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Pereyra's Efrain Hernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Hernandez in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Hermon saved River Ctes from getting behind. Claudio Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Hernandez in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Luiz da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Hermon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Efrain Hernandez scored 4-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Hermon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
