Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ceferino Figueroa kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, Pirané's Doru Ştiubei made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Cordario was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, Curriculum Lleno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Ştiubei came free, but Eloy Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Quinto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Marcelino Hanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Gualterio Erramun made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Curriculum Lleno FC's zone, Doru Ştiubei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Cordario came out of the goal and Doru Ştiubei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Doru Ştiubei made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Cordario. Curriculum Lleno FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 29 minutes into the game, Pirané's Doru Ştiubei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Cordario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 33rd minute, Doru Ştiubei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirané fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Ştiubei in the 38th minute of play forced Curriculum Lleno FC's goalkeeper Eloy Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Ştiubei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Cordario having to make a save. If Doru Ştiubei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Michaël Karembeu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirané fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doru Ştiubei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Doru Ştiubei made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Cordario. Curriculum Lleno FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Mario Leoiar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Eloy Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aggelos Tsaliagos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Doru Ştiubei might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Cordario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doru Ştiubei ran back to his position shaking his head. When Michaël Karembeu came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Pirané fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michaël Karembeu couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Curriculum Lleno FC's zone, Doru Ştiubei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Cordario came out of the goal and Doru Ştiubei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the game, Doru Ştiubei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eloy Cordario. Doru Ştiubei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Eloy Cordario was a little too slow when Doru Ştiubei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-9. Curriculum Lleno FC's Eloy Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Ştiubei in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Ştiubei in the 84th minute of play forced Curriculum Lleno FC's goalkeeper Eloy Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Curriculum Lleno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Quinto to maneuver through the defense. Curriculum Lleno FC's Eloy Cordario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Curriculum Lleno FC from getting a goal against them. Eloy Cordario made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Doru Ştiubei sent off a good shot on target. Eloy Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Ştiubei in the 93rd minute of the match. When Marcelino Hanni fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curriculum Lleno FC's protests and gave Marcelino Hanni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute of the match Aggelos Tsaliagos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Cordario skillfully saved the ball.
