Thanks to some nice moves Niceto Barea could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Teobaldo Peyo however easily saved by the left post. Marcelo Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Salgado having to interfere. Benê Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo Gaxan went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Niceto Barea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Aguilas Rojas FC's Godofredo Lluciano got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, BURTON ALBION's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niceto Barea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Teobaldo Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Lluciano in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, Aguilas Rojas FC's Niceto Barea made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobaldo Peyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Niceto Barea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 40 minutes, Celestino Herena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguilas Rojas FC and the BURTON ALBION players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Rosario during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BURTON ALBION's Marcelo Rosario got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Teobaldo Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Lluciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Lluciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Godofredo Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Lluciano in the 69th minute of play forced BURTON ALBION's goalkeeper Teobaldo Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Niceto Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Niceto Barea made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Peyo. BURTON ALBION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Enrique Clementi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Barea in the 89th minute of play forced BURTON ALBION's goalkeeper Teobaldo Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, BURTON ALBION's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Barea came free, but Teobaldo Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
