Doru Ştiubei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. EL CARTERO's Pes Horna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michaël Karembeu in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Doru Ştiubei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michaël Karembeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pes Horna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Toribio to strike the kick off in the second half. Gualterio Erramun was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Rosendo Ekaitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rosendo Ekaitz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 57 minutes into the match, EL CARTERO's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Ştiubei came free, but Pes Horna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Doru Ştiubei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL CARTERO's Pes Horna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the EL CARTERO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pirané.
