Humberto Ler started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Abbott AFC's Jonas Vigil got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alejo Leheren was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Humberto Ler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Ler really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Humberto Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Abbott AFC's zone, Agustin Maore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Leheren came out of the goal and Agustin Maore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Ler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Leheren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Leonides Dunixi's late challenge caught a Abbott AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Dunixi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute of the match Adolfo Eufrasio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Bortzaioriz skillfully saved the ball. The throw-in from Marcial Rius in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AID's Leonides Dunixi. The supporters of Abbott AFC booed when AID was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Donio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Abbott AFC defense, Humberto Ler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Leheren. The Abbott AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Leheren should have stopped the shot. Agustin Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Leheren having to interfere. Tadeo Donio took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Bortzaioriz. Vinicio Bortzaioriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Donio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Humberto Ler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejo Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes, Jonas Vigil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abbott AFC and the AID players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Abbott AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Vigil to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vinicio Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Humberto Ler sped through Abbott AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alejo Leheren. After 62 played minutes Abbott AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Loramendi. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Humberto Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot. AID's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Ler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Leheren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AID's Humberto Ler got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ciriaco Loramendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abbott AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Loramendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Bortzaioriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abbott AFC's Alejo Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Ler in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Abbott AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Vigil to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Ler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Leheren having to interfere. During the 74th minute of the match Jonas Vigil completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jonas Vigil a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Humberto Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Abbott AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Ler came free, but Alejo Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Agustin Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Humberto Ler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Leheren. Abbott AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Ler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Tadeo Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbott AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Agustin Maore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AID fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
