Alejo Leheren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 14th minute, Placido Gervaso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kiaxi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Abbott AFC's Alejo Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Gervaso in the 20th minute of play. Eray Bilen took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejo Leheren. Alejo Leheren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 29th minute, Ciriaco Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Placido Gervaso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Leheren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Kiaxi FC's Eray Bilen got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Rolando Sendoa notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Abbott AFC's Alejo Leheren. Alejo Leheren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ciriaco Loramendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rui Patrício made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Jonas Vigil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abbott AFC were furious when Elias Chumo was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abbott AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Kiaxi FC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rolando Sendoa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Abbott AFC's Alejo Leheren. 0-8. After the first half Kiaxi FC were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Silvio Abastas made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Abbott AFC's Alejo Leheren got control of the ball when Rolando Sendoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciriaco Loramendi's late challenge caught a Kiaxi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Loramendi helped the player get up and apologised. Ciriaco Loramendi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 78th play minute Raulo Beguellina came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alejo Leheren. 0-11. Alejo Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Fernendo in the 80th minute. Rolando Sendoa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Placido Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Figueroa scored 1-11 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Patrício, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Abbott AFC getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Severiano Obano hit a great ball. Silvio Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
