The audience was convinced that Bassi Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Remigio was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, BosterosDeBallester's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Eutropio came free, but Constantino Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, BosterosDeBallester's Lucas Arnau threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guaberto Savion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bassi Gol in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Remigio saved BosterosDeBallester from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cayetano Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. BosterosDeBallester's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Enmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantino Remigio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bassi Gol in the 43rd minute of the match. Dick Hagberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, BosterosDeBallester's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Tonete came free, but Constantino Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Constantino Remigio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bassi Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bassi Gol in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Remigio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Remigio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Velez Sport Club's Bassi Gol in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Velez Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Savion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. BosterosDeBallester's Constantino Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bassi Gol in the 86th minute of play. Velez Sport Club's Lino Tonete got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Vasco got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Teodoro Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez Sport Club's goalkeeper Lucas Arnau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
