Spectators: 6618 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ruben Mitxel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Llorian during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 minutes, Jacobo Fonticoba made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. San Lorenzo de Almagro's Domingo Frutos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Frutos came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ambargasta's Jacobo Fonticoba. But to his dismay, Jacobo Fonticoba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aquilino Loiola took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Frutos. Domingo Frutos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Charlie Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Otsoko in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match San Lorenzo de Almagro got a corner. Ambargasta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramon Elequemedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Fonticoba came free, but Domingo Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Ambargasta's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Otsoko came free, but Charlie Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Jacobo Fonticoba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Frutos. San Lorenzo de Almagro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Fonticoba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ramon Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Sundin having to interfere. Lucas Beltrán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Fonticoba to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingo Frutos was a little too slow when Jacobo Fonticoba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-6. Jacobo Fonticoba in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingo Frutos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. San Lorenzo de Almagro's Domingo Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ramon Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charlie Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Aquilino Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Elequemedo in the 68th minute of the match. Charlie Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Otsoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jacobo Fonticoba came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Domingo Frutos could save by the left post. 74 minutes in the game, Lucas Beltrán fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Domingo Frutos having to interfere. Domingo Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Fonticoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 76th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalkeeper Domingo Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Aquilino Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Lucas Beltrán made a precise shot to the right of Domingo Frutos. San Lorenzo de Almagro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Lucas Beltrán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Domingo Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jacobo Fonticoba came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ambargasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Fonticoba couldn't finish the play. If Ruben Mitxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Beltrán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Frutos having to make a save.
