Spectators: 6300 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valentin Aragones took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfonso Bizi came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez Sport Club's Lino Tonete. But to his dismay, Lino Tonete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Velez Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Betadur to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pastela Fc booed when Velez Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Cayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Robustiano Katia came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pastela Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Katia couldn't finish the play. Dick Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Valentin Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Velez Sport Club's Bassi Gol in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pastela Fc's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Bassi Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Bizi was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Haroldo Cayo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Cayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentin Aragones was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfonso Bizi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Tonete in the 37th minute. Alfonso Bizi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bassi Gol in the 37th minute of play. Lucas Arnau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Velez Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Gastón Benedetti. Pastela Fc's Alfonso Bizi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Pastela Fc from getting a goal against them. Lucas Arnau came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pastela Fc's Valentin Aragones. But to his dismay, Valentin Aragones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alfonso Bizi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bassi Gol in the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bassi Gol to make the kick off. Lucas Arnau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Katia in the 51st minute. Melchor Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Arnau having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Velez Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Bassi Gol. Valentin Aragones's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucas Arnau firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 69th play minute Valentin Aragones came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lucas Arnau. 1-3. Tomas Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Bassi Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 85th minute, Pastela Fc's Valentin Aragones ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Arnau. Lucas Arnau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. A hard shot 90 in the game by Valentin Aragones from a close distance when the talented Lucas Arnau managed to make a qualified save. Velez Sport Club's players were relieved. Valentin Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Arnau having to interfere.
