XEI NEI XE FC's Oscar Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Aragones in the 16th minute of play. Alfonso Bizi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Hermengildo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Bizi having to interfere. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind XEI NEI XE FC's goalkeeper Oscar Gombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melchor Joseph might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Gombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Joseph ran back to his position shaking his head. Genaro Medina scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Bizi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Aragones in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Gombal saved XEI NEI XE FC from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pastela Fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while XEI NEI XE FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
