But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Frutos couldn't finish the play. Mihnea Jușcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Independiente Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Perfecto. In the 30th minute Hermengildo Gutxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Jușcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Independiente Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Irrintzi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Roca booed when Independiente Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position.
