Hipolito Primo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Felipillo having to make a save. With a little luck, Holaneta's Juan Felipillo got control of the ball when Hipolito Primo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Hipolito Primo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Juan Felipillo to make any attempt to save it. Amado Haritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Matador got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Saturnin. Hipolito Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Everardo Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Haritz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Sugar having to make a save. After 46th play minutes Teo Veto shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Juan Felipillo and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Edur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Holaneta defense, Hipolito Primo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Felipillo. The Holaneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Felipillo should have stopped the shot. Matador's Hermengildo Medero was substituted for Anacleto Txaran. When Teo Veto came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Matador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Veto couldn't finish the play. Hipolito Primo scored 6-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Felipillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Holaneta's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Primo came free, but Juan Felipillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Teo Veto made a precise shot to the right of Juan Felipillo. Holaneta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 78th minute Teo Veto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Teo Veto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matador's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Veto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Felipillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Hipolito Primo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holaneta's Juan Felipillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Primo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Hipolito Primo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Matador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
