Vladimiro Aztore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albin Arenius having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Fidel Ostadar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albin Arenius. BOLIVAR AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Ostadar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jorge Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Santana was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of BOLIVAR AFC booed when C.A. COLORADA TIERRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márcio Quental could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jorge Vigil made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Aztore in the 35th minute of play forced BOLIVAR AFC's goalkeeper Albin Arenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Hermon to make the kick off. Julio Bartoleme in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albin Arenius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Romeo Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Vladimiro Aztore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. COLORADA TIERRA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Albin Arenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Ostadar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Arenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. COLORADA TIERRA. BOLIVAR AFC's Albin Arenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save BOLIVAR AFC from getting a goal against them.
