The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's Jorge Vigil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. COLORADA TIERRA from getting a goal against them. Jorge Vigil made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ramon Lekubegi sent off a good shot on target. Ramon Lekubegi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Vigil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arturo Ardines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Ostadar's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match, Ramon Lekubegi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jorge Vigil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jorge Vigil made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ramon Lekubegi sent off a good shot on target. If Ramon Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18thth minute of the game Primitivo Seguinus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fátima's Arturo Ardines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ramon Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Primitivo Seguinus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Ardines was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Rafael Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vigil having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Rafael Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jorge Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Bittor during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.A. COLORADA TIERRA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alejandro Bittor hit a great ball. C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's Jorge Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Lekubegi in the 54th minute of play. When Fátima's Ramon Lekubegi in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's goalie prevented a goal. When Primitivo Seguinus fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's protests and gave Primitivo Seguinus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, C.A. COLORADA TIERRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's Primitivo Seguinus got a free kick in the 59th minute. Caetano Matias hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Seguinus in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Ardines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of C.A. COLORADA TIERRA booed when Fátima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Seguinuss short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Arturo Ardines to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77th minute Ramon Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Lekubegi in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Vigil saved C.A. COLORADA TIERRA from getting behind. Primitivo Seguinus in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Ardines, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. COLORADA TIERRA's zone, Rafael Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Vigil came out of the goal and Rafael Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jorge Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
