After a rather tough play, Robles's Pierre-Olivier Lepoittevin got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ildefonso Lastur hit a great ball. When Mariano Fertus fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When Bocho Cabezuela came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Robles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bocho Cabezuela couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Salvatore to make the kick off. Bogumil Koperski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Koperski in the 60th minute of play.
