The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Marin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vinicio Cordareo 5 minutes into the match. Dominico F.C.'s Amadeo Maule got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Alberto Marin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dominico F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dominico F.C. were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Deportivo Scalonetta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Cordeara took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Alberto Marin to score against Vinicio Cordareo in Deportivo Scalonetta's goal. 3-0 after 16 minutes. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Alberto Marin sped through Deportivo Scalonetta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Cordareo. Vinicio Cordareo stood somewhat misplaced when Alberto Marin came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. Alberto Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Marin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Vinicio Cordareo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Remigio Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remigio Firmo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Cordareo came out and tried to block the shot, but Remigio Firmo slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 36th minute. Vinicio Cordareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alberto Marin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Cordareo was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alberto Marin made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Dominico F.C. booed when Deportivo Scalonetta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Cordareo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dominico F.C.'s Alberto Marin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Dominico F.C.'s Julio Orlondo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Scalonetta's Ladislao Bautista broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Deportivo Scalonetta booed when Dominico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Gregorio Francho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Bautista hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Felipe Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dominico F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Cordeara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Cordareo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Felipe Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Deportivo Scalonetta defense, Alberto Marin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Cordareo. The Deportivo Scalonetta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Cordareo should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Alberto Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Cordareo was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Vinicio Cordareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Marin in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Alberto Marin put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vinicio Cordareo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dominico F.C. fully deserved thier win.
