Labordense's Teodoro Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Lizbeth in the 21st minute of play. Teodoro Obano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Lizbeth's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Willy Webster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Labordense's goal looked a bit too open when Vural Başeskioğlu came free, but Teodoro Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nío AFC's zone, Federico Arnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altzibar Zapater came out of the goal and Federico Arnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Lizbeth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Labordense's Teodoro Obano got control of the ball when Rigoberto Lizbeth tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Labordense's goalkeeper Teodoro Obano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Lizbeth. Teodoro Obano was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Rigoberto Lizbeth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rigoberto Lizbeth really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Labordense's Teodoro Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willy Webster in the 95th minute of play. The Labordense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nío AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Nío AFC.
