Jaime Icedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Cordareo having to make a save. In the 10th minute, Václav Lux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Cordareo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 20 minutes into the game, Jaime Icedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Vinicio Cordareo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Jaime Icedo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Deportivo Scalonetta's Vinicio Cordareo. Vinicio Cordareo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabricio Basualdo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vinicio Cordareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE's Benedicto Gamus made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Cordareo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deportivo Scalonetta's Vinicio Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Icedo in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Jaime Icedo sped through Deportivo Scalonetta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Cordareo. Enrique Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Václav Lux struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Vinicio Cordareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE. Godofredo Bras made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sebastian Abella sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedicto Gamus made a kick off. Godofredo Bras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Abella in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match INDEPENDIENTE got a corner. Deportivo Scalonetta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Václav Lux ran over to the corner to take the kick. Václav Lux made a great header on INDEPENDIENTE's corner, it was just that Deportivo Scalonetta's Vinicio Cordareo managed to reach the ball for a save. Benedicto Gamus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vinicio Cordareo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Jaime Icedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Vinicio Cordareo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedicto Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Cordareo having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Deportivo Scalonetta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedicto Gamus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sebastian Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristobal Karmel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Vinicio Cordareo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristobal Karmel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Vinicio Cordareo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as INDEPENDIENTE's Cristobal Karmel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vinicio Cordareo. That made the score 0-10 after 79 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE's Ermegildo Formerio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. INDEPENDIENTE's Godofredo Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Francho in the 83rd minute of play. Deportivo Scalonetta's Vinicio Cordareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Scalonetta from getting a goal against them. INDEPENDIENTE's Václav Lux got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Scalonetta's zone, Cristobal Karmel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Cordareo came out of the goal and Cristobal Karmel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Jaime Icedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Cristobal Karmel sped through Deportivo Scalonetta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Cordareo.
