The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 40 played minutes Cajon FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Quentin. 41 minutes into the match, Cajon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Belarmo came free, but Eliseo Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New York RB were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Cajon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Rainerio took the corner. Eduardo Rainerio made a great header on New York RB's corner, it was just that Cajon FC's Eliseo Ramirez managed to reach the ball for a save. Epifanio Gagriel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Domingos Hermon made a huge save. The supporters of Cajon FC booed when New York RB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Cidro in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Ramirez saved Cajon FC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Gagriel to strike the kick off in the second half. When Eduardo Rainerio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New York RB's protests and gave Eduardo Rainerio a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes New York RB got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Rainerio. If Efrain Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Ramirez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Eliseo Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Belarmo in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Belarmo got free with Eliseo Ramirez in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Justino Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Belarmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Eliseo Ramirez made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Gogo Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Ramirez made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Elias Belarmo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benicio Guib during the 82nd minute.
