The audience was convinced that Angel Corderall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Pollák was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Edgardo Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Perico in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Pollák prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Perico made a kick off. Edgardo Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgardo Pericos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Tomáš Pollák to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sixto Silban charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Silban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Wilkinson Athletic a penalty, 57 minutes into the game.
