La Naranja Mecanica's David Lluterio got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio de Castro in the 11th minute of the match. David Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Pollák having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Martín's goalkeeper Tomáš Pollák, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Rumaldo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Jobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, San Martín's Leonides Rumaldo got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Martín's goalkeeper Tomáš Pollák, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, one of La Naranja Mecanica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Naranja Mecanica. Ermegildo Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio de Castro in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Leonides Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Pollák having to interfere. Tomáš Pollák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Lluterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Caetano made a kick off. After a rather tough play, La Naranja Mecanica's David Lluterio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Rumaldo in the 53rd minute of play forced La Naranja Mecanica's goalkeeper Ermegildo Jobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Naranja Mecanica's Ermegildo Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio de Castro in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded San Martín left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Naranja Mecanica.
