The audience was convinced that Alejo Silvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Oliverios was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Angel Barrionuevo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Jerico in the 27th minute. Alejo Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Oliverios having to interfere. Danilo Oliverios came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mataderos's Arnaldo Artal. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Artal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 35th minute Damian Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mataderos's Arnaldo Artal got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Damian Montez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Danilo Oliverios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilkinson Athletic's Danilo Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Montez in the 43rd minute of play. With 46 minutes on the clock, Arnaldo Efraim commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 46 minutes into the game, one of Wilkinson Athletic:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Antonio Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Danilo Oliverios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Silvino in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Mataderos booed when Wilkinson Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mataderos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
