FIORITO CITY's Eloy Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Rojelio in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Guillermo Janpier hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Santos Frasco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rafael Jorrin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. FIORITO CITY's Rafael Jorrin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With his leg Paolo Rafel managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FIORITO CITY's Rafael Jorrin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ambrosio Gamus fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FIORITO CITY's protests and gave Ambrosio Gamus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FIORITO CITY getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Jorrin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Rafel saved River Plate from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Rojelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Romano was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Janpier got free with Eloy Romano in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Rafel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Jorrin in the 57th minute of the match. Aquiles Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eloy Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FIORITO CITY's zone, Feliciano Playo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Romano came out of the goal and Feliciano Playo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Janpier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Romano was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Guillermo Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. River Plate's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
