In the 5th minute, Florentino Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Sosa's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Rojelio came free, but 魏笑振 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 魏笑振 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Janpier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Sosa's Siro Quentin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Siro Quentin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sosa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Siro Quentin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sosa! After 39 minutes Sosa's goalkeeper 魏笑振 managed, with a little bit of luck, save Eduardo Ekialde's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 39 minutes into the game, Eduardo Ekialde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. 魏笑振 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of River Plate booed when Sosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. 傅亮天 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sosa's 傅亮天 got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of River Plate booed when Sosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 魏笑振 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 魏笑振 came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Aquiles Rojelio. But to his dismay, Aquiles Rojelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sosa's Gualterio Ceandro got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Janpier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 魏笑振 was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the River Plate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
