Cosme Rojelio came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gavino Orlan could save by the left post. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Tercero in the 14th minute of play. Sydney Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Vistruario in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Jacobo Medero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Orlan. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Medero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sydney Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ekialde in the 19th minute of the match. BulnesFC's Sydney Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Mingo in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, BulnesFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Mingo came free, but Sydney Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Jacobo Medero scored to the left of an out of position Gavino Orlan, making the score, 2-2. Gavino Orlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alain Prost showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, BulnesFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Mingo came free, but Sydney Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Rojelio's late challenge caught a ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Rojelio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BulnesFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cosme Rojelio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the BulnesFC defense, Celestino Mingo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sydney Vargas. The BulnesFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sydney Vargas should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, BulnesFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Ekialde came free, but Sydney Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 3-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gavino Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Celestino Mingo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-5 in the 57th playminute. The coaching staff of BulnesFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jacobo Medero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in BulnesFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The supporters of ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ booed when BulnesFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
