Los Tigres de Funes's Ivan Lorenz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Apeleg's Paulo Argina got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Ivan Lorenz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cristian Rayman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Matias Frutos made a huge save. Cristian Rayman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Matias Frutos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cristian Rayman came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Los Tigres de Funes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Rayman couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Los Tigres de Funes booed when Apeleg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cristian Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Tigres de Funes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Rayman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Los Tigres de Funes getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Maximino Boni hit a great ball. When Claudio Sotero came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Apeleg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Sotero couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Montez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Los Tigres de Funes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ivan Lorenz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ivan Lorenz scored 6-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Frutos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Lorenz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Los Tigres de Funes's Ivan Lorenz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Frutos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Apeleg's Matias Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Rayman in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Jeremias Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Su took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Apeleg's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Rayman came free, but Matias Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Frutos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteve Bilbo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute Cristian Rayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Tigres de Funes's Geronimo Su played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lucero in the 77th minute of play. Celedonio Rubio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Rayman in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Frutos saved Apeleg from getting behind. Los Tigres de Funes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeremias Montez in the 81st minute. The corner led Los Tigres de Funes's Jeremias Montez to fire away a dangerous shot which Matias Frutos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paulo Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Cristian Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, Los Tigres de Funes's Ivan Lorenz made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Frutos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Su having to interfere. Apeleg's Matias Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Lorenz in the 95th minute of play. Los Tigres de Funes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
