Emiliano Bustillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Koehler in the 6th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Koehler in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Bustillo saved Torbellino from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Bustillo in the 9th minute of play forced Bahia's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Torbellino's Emiliano Bustillo got control of the ball when Jonas Mingo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Torbellino's goalkeeper Emiliano Bustillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Mingo. Emiliano Bustillo made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Feliberto Enekoitz sent off a good shot on target. Tomm De Ridder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bahia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Georgi Velinov had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Fausto Benet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Bahia defense, Fausto Benet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georgi Velinov. The Bahia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georgi Velinov should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Bahia's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Bustillo came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbellino's Emiliano Bustillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Koehler in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Torbellino getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fausto Benet hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Sandro Koehler fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emiliano Bustillo, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Torbellino booed when Bahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Sandro Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bustillo in the 45th minute of the match. Georgi Velinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Bustillo made a kick off. With a little luck, Bahia's Georgi Velinov got control of the ball when Jorge Bustillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Bahia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jonas Mingo hit a great ball. Honorato Bilintx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georgi Velinov having to make a save. After 60 played minutes Torbellino got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Pitin. Gonzalo Pereyra took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georgi Velinov. Georgi Velinov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jorge Bustillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Georgi Velinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Torbellino getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fausto Benet hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes, Bahia's Jonas Mingo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emiliano Bustillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bahia reached it. Georgi Velinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Bustillo in the 75th minute. Georgi Velinov came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Torbellino's Jorge Bustillo. But to his dismay, Jorge Bustillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 81st minute, Eduardo Cordarell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Torbellino's Jorge Bustillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Emiliano Bustillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Enekoitz went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Jonas Mingo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Bustillo. Torbellino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Georgi Velinov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Santo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Torbellino's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
