In the 3rd minute, Cristian Rayman made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Edorta. Real Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 5th minute Cristian Rayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Edorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Montez came free, but Isidoro Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Real Madrid defense, Ivan Lorenz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Edorta. The Real Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Edorta should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Lorenzo Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Ivan Lorenz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Real Madrid's Isidoro Edorta. Isidoro Edorta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Anier Lucado. Ivan Lorenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Bilbo came free, but Isidoro Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Edorta came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Tigres de Funes's Cristian Rayman. But to his dismay, Cristian Rayman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 26th minute Ivan Lorenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Edorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Madrid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeremias Montez was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Tigres de Funes's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Los Tigres de Funes's corner Jeremias Montez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isidoro Edorta quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Los Tigres de Funes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anier Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Jeremias Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Edorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Edorta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Rayman in the 35th minute of play. Real Madrid's Armando Lucian got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lorenz came free, but Isidoro Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Real Madrid players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Tigres de Funes were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Lucian was the one to do the kick off. Geronimo Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Oroitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes of play, Los Tigres de Funes's Jeremias Montez made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Edorta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Isidoro Edorta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 69th minute Armando Lucian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Evangelista to maneuver through the defense. If Armando Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Montez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 75th playminute. 79 minutes into the match, Jeremias Montez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Edorta. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Montez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 84th minute, Los Tigres de Funes's Joaquin Abeita seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joaquin Abeita the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Tigres de Funes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joaquin Abeita had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute, one of Los Tigres de Funes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Tigres de Funes. Geronimo Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Lucian went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Artemio Pes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Los Tigres de Funes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
