Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cipriano Garin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felipe Chorache lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in ZuKaritas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ave Fenix a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baldomiro Dominix, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ZuKaritas FC's Gunnar Nyberg. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Garin in the 8th minute of play forced ZuKaritas FC's goalkeeper Gunnar Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Cipriano Garin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ave Fenix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZuKaritas FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Cipriano Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ZuKaritas FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Loid Verelst hit a great ball. Lucio Etxahun scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Nyberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 minutes of play, ZuKaritas FC's Evaristo Shepherd made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Florinio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Lucio Etxahun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gunnar Nyberg. The goal made the score 3-1. Evaristo Shepherd hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gunnar Nyberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Gunnar Nyberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Ave Fenix's zone, Evaristo Shepherd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Florinio came out of the goal and Evaristo Shepherd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Verelst in the 47th minute of play forced Ave Fenix's goalkeeper Marcelo Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Shepherd was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Silvestre Salvadore notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of ZuKaritas FC's Gunnar Nyberg. Gunnar Nyberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gunnar Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Chabier in the 56th minute of play. Marcelo Florinio made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Evaristo Shepherd sent off a good shot on target. When Evaristo Shepherd got free in front of the goal in the 58th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marcelo Florinio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Marcelo Florinio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Shepherd in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Javier Chabier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ave Fenix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. If Silvestre Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute, Teodosio Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the ZuKaritas FC defense, Cipriano Garin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Nyberg. The ZuKaritas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Nyberg should have stopped the shot. After 76 played minutes Ave Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Etxahun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Shepherd got free with Marcelo Florinio in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ZuKaritas FC booed when Ave Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Shepherd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Florinio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Silvestre Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Cipriano Garin notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of ZuKaritas FC's Gunnar Nyberg. Gunnar Nyberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cipriano Garin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 91st match minute, Ave Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Garin to maneuver through the defense. Ave Fenix walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
