In the 6thth minute of the game Viorel Uncuţă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torres AFC's Tadeo Jacob was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torres AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andres Tirso was slow to take the kick. During this time 11 Chivos Reales's players had a chance to rest. Tadeo Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Uncuţă, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 12 played minutes Torres AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Padilha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Uncuţă in the 13th minute of play forced Torres AFC's goalkeeper Tadeo Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Florencio Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torres AFC's Tadeo Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Txordon in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Uncuţă in the 30th minute of play forced Torres AFC's goalkeeper Tadeo Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torres AFC's Tadeo Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Raymond in the 46th minute of play. After 48 played minutes Torres AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Padilha. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viorel Uncuţă to make the kick off. A collision led to Torres AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Côme Verga hit a great ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Efrain Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 11 Chivos Reales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tadeo Jacob came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by 11 Chivos Reales's Cecilio Txordon. But to his dismay, Cecilio Txordon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in 11 Chivos Reales fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When Efrain Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the 11 Chivos Reales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Raymond couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 94th minute of the match.
