After some careless play in the ZuKaritas FC defense, Clemente Gorbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Nyberg. The ZuKaritas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Nyberg should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ntinos Karaliopoulos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Nyberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Shepherd in the 39th minute of play forced Messi FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Errolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sanson Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, ZuKaritas FC's Teodosio Azubeli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4.

Osvaldo Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Gunnar Nyberg was a little too slow when Cristian León got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-5. Gunnar Nyberg was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Clemente Gorbea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemente Gorbea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Cristian León fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Nyberg having to interfere. ZuKaritas FC made a substitution. Vicente Gabino replaced Teodosio Azubeli. Bartolo Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Nyberg having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, Messi FC's Cristian León made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
