After 5 minutes, Ricardo Herensuge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brugo FC and the Cachiyuyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Brugo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Herensuge. Brugo FC's Herminio Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 7th minute of play. The Cachiyuyu fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Cachiyuyu's Guaberto Ramirez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venancio Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cachiyuyu's Ceferino Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Min in the 13th minute of play. Eleuterio Clis lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 14th minute, one of Cachiyuyu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cachiyuyu. A collision led to Cachiyuyu getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Segundo Rocio hit a great ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brugo FC's goalkeeper Herminio Godoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Ceferino Lartaun managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Brugo FC's Venancio Tallia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Tallia in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Lartaun saved Cachiyuyu from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Segundo Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Godoy having to interfere. Delmar Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Godoy having to interfere. If Leopoldo Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Ceferino Lartaun, was totally fooled by Brugo FC's David Rami, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Venancio Tallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cachiyuyu's Ceferino Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Tallia in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyu's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Min came free, but Ceferino Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Venancio Tallia put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ceferino Lartaun. Delmar Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Venancio Tallia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachiyuyu's Ceferino Lartaun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 played minutes Brugo FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Tohias. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cachiyuyu! 80 minutes into the match, David Rami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Lartaun. Cachiyuyu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Rami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 86 minutes into the match, Brugo FC's goalkeeper Herminio Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Godoy. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Venancio Tallia sped through Cachiyuyu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ceferino Lartaun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Godoy got free with Herminio Godoy in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venancio Tallia took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Lartaun. Ceferino Lartaun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brugo FC had won after a very even match.
