Mariano Gonzalez had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Martin Ladio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aitor Huenul got free with Rosendo Martxelin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Martin Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Santa Teresa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Ladio couldn't finish the play. Angelino Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Mariano Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Gilen in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MURO DE PIEDRA lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
