After having played for 6 minutes, Roque Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yourugua Foobal Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Ilgaz Sadiray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Matia. Murphy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilgaz Sadiray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Yourugua Foobal Club's Teofilo Jerold got control of the ball when Ciro Normando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilgaz Sadiray, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After the first half Yourugua Foobal Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
