When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Harkaitz made a kick off. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Clementi in the 58th minute of play. After 58 played minutes BERMEJO got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Oalo. When Florencio Oton came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the La Panchera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Oton couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the BERMEJO defense, Florencio Oton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Goren. The BERMEJO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Goren should have stopped the shot. The supporters of BERMEJO booed when La Panchera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Clementi in the 77th minute of play forced BERMEJO's goalkeeper Hernan Goren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on La Panchera's corner Mihály Szabó fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hernan Goren quite easily take care of the ball. After 84 minutes BERMEJO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mihály Szabó who took care of the corner kick. In the 86th minute Roberto Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
