The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Rodrigo Palacios came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the CHONA AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Palacios couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Palacios's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Angelo Matia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Angelo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Palacios in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, CHONA AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Atarratze came free, but Héctor David Calderón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Corderall in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Murphy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Olo to maneuver through the defense. CHONA AFC's Florencio Senen got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CHONA AFC's attack was well implemented in the 26th minute, but when Rodrigo Palacios was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After having played for 27 minutes, Florencio Senen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHONA AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Senen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Palacios in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Matia saved Murphy from getting behind. Angelo Matia made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Rodrigo Palacios sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute CHONA AFC were awarded a corner. Marciano Ado went to the cornerflag to take it. CHONA AFC's Marciano Ado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Matia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Rodrigo Palacios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes CHONA AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kristi Abeshi. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Palacios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st match minute, Murphy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Olo to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Palacios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Angelo Matia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Murphy's zone, Tyrone Coburn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Matia came out of the goal and Tyrone Coburn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Héctor David Calderón successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Coburn in the 78th minute of play forced Murphy's goalkeeper Angelo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Murphy's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Cruz came free, but Angelo Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, CHONA AFC's Julio Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Matia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 84 played minutes CHONA AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Ado. Angelo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Cruz in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Florencio Senen notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Murphy's Angelo Matia. Angelo Matia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CHONA AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
