Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Jurdan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Matia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Jurdan in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Federación booed when Murphy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Micael in the 22nd minute of play forced Murphy's goalkeeper Angelo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Miarka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Angelo Matia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Evangelista went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute Serafin Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Celso Atarratze made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Dario Berriotxoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ziemowit Miarka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hector Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Matia having to interfere. Murphy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Federación the free kick.
